Experience bellydance

 

 

 

 

Performing , teaching and  enjoying this dance  is a life long mission of Eugenia .Dancing since 1996 and teaching since 2003  Eugenia continues her quest  to inspire you to  experience bellydance! Certified by Maria Jammal in  2008, among  many  workshops and classes  with   local and  international  dance   instructors.

Eugenia  has taken lessons with the following  instructors: Alexandra King(CA), Sahra Saeeda ,Anahid Sofian (NY) Elena Lentine(NY) , Dalia Carella(NY) , Aziza(CA), Jillina(CA), Azmarah, Delilah(HI),Rachel Brice(CA),Bozenka(FL),Myriam Eli (FL),Daniella (FL), Tjarda(Holland) ,Tamalyn Dallal, Ansuya  (FL) , Fahtiem (CA), Jim Boz, Ava Fleming(AZ),Tamra Henna(CA),Dahlena, Suhaila Salimpour(CA) Arish Lam (PR),Jiham Jamal(FL) ,Hanan(FL),Ayshe (NY) Saida (Arg) , Natalie(FL)

Eugenia continues to   take weekly lessons under the   mentorship of Bozenka .

                                                          


 




Her style is reflection of her  spanish roots, danced folkloric dances of  her native El Salvador,  and folk dances of Europe. 

  Many years  of  taking lessons, attending  workshops, and   learning about the cultural aspects of Middle Eastern dance  in general .

 Styles I enjoy: 

classic egyptian , arab/gypsy fusion, goddess dance, latin  arabic fusion, in addition to   Middle eastern dance  Eugenia dances  folkloric from  Puerto Rico(Bomba y plena  rooted in african dance) and  Central America . Indigenous dances from the region, where   ethnic instruments as the marimba are common.


Eugenia is involved in the local bellydance community .Promotes and sponsors    workshops and   haflas  to  unite and educate the public about bellydance .

Directs student dance troupe ARABELLA .

We perform at local events , fundraisers ,  haflas and  cultural  festivals as wellas private  events  .

Our troupe  portrays   a   group of talented dancers,  from diverse backgrounds and age groups  we  dance  different  styles , always  giving room to the individual expression of each  dancer. ARABELLA is always in movement.
